Xactimate 28-X1 - From the Beginning for Adjusters
The Xactimate class is
structured to give you as
much practical information
as possible. You will
actually complete an
interior and roof claim in
the final portion of the
class.
This course is a “from the beginning” course and will prep you to get out into the
field and write estimates ASAP. This course covers basic, intermediate, and
advanced concepts:
Data entry and estimate set-up for:
•
user preferences
•
system settings
•
company headers
•
opening statements
•
Estimate "structure" and proper order/grouping
•
Dimensioning (building rooms and elevations with width/length/height)
•
Basic Sketch functions for adjusters (building rooms to roofs in Sketch)
•
Line item entry and several item search strategies
•
Macros
•
Adding , labeling, annotating, and ordering photos.
•
Preparing an estimate for submission for file review the way they want it
Xactimate Training Requirements:
Students attending the two day Xactimate workshop are expected to furnish their
own laptop. It is important that the laptop meets the system requirements for
running Xactimate efficiently. All computers must have a Windows operating system
that is at least Windows 7. Note: This course assumes that students enter with a basic
level of proficiency in computer skills. Typing, manipulation of a mouse (including
click, drag, and drop maneuver), and familiarization with a windows based operating
system are required skills. This 2 day class is $600
Classes are small to allow
maximum instructor help
for the new adjuster.
This class is structured to
actually construct a complete
estimate including photos from
beginning to completion for
submission to the desk adjuster
for approval.
This method is to give the
student actual hands on
experience with assembling
an entire claim.
Class includes beginning to
expert skills because it it
tailored to the needs of the
property adjuster.
Xactimate is the most widely used estimating program. It is A Must
for adjusters who want to build a professional estimate. Learning
practical Xactimate application knowledge is essential for
Adjusters, New or seasoned, this course will teach you what file
review expects to see in an estimate. This course is a 2 day course
that teaches a new adjuster how to construct and insurance
estimate from start to finish. The class teaches how to sketch,
estimate, scale, and insert and arrange photos into the estimate. All
classes are 9 to 5.
